Furthermore, our Batik Lumbar Pillowcase print celebrates the cultural parallels of traditional textile dyeing and ornamentation techniques akin to Native Hawaiian Kapa making. Narrow shapes arranged along an invisible center line create a mirror of streaked edges and sharpened points. These Batik print details illicit primal stirrings of a wild and primitive pre-contact Polynesia.
Designed and made in Hawaiʻi, our Batik Lumbar Pillowcase was originally designed to supplement our Hō’olu Hiamoe Bed Set. Specifically, this lumbar pillowcase pairs well with our Hō’olu Hiamoe Bed Set and our Loulu Square Pillowcase in the color Ivory/Celery.
